COLONIAL PRODUCE.
DIRECT STEAMSHIP SERVICES.
By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright
London, March 26. Mr. Watt (Premier of Victoria) was interviewed to-day by the representatives of 30 financial arid other newspapers. He explained the reproductive character of Victorian debts and said that whilst in England he would inquire into the problem of marketing produce. He would visit Liverpool, Manchester; Bristol, Hull, and elsewhere. Victoria alone, or co-operating with other States, was, he said, prepared to consider the possibility of assisting direct steamship services. ; !
