Association.— ' London, March 26. • Sib Edward Grey (Secretary for Foreign Affairs), speaking in the House of Commons to-day, said that however bad the. existing situation in Persia was, it was .a lesser evil than the consequence of sending, a
large British force to the country. Britain, he added, would not embark on a policy .which would possibly be the beginning of occupation and partition, - but : if the present policy failed the Cabinet mußt ; consider the next step. " '•
