MOTOR-CAR ACCIDENT.
MAN LOSES A LEG.
[BY TELEGBAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] New Plymottth, Thursday. Br a motor accident to-day, a well-known resident named Norman Bewley, sustained serious injury, his leg having to be subsequently amputated above the knee. He lies in a critical condition at the hospital. The accident was the result of a pin dropping out of the steering gear, and the car colliding with a telegraph post.
