MOUNT ROSKILL ROAD BOARD.

The monthly meeting of the Mount Eoskill Boad Board was hold last evening. Present: Messrs. Chas. Bagley (chairman), J. Haslett, E. J. Herd, G. Witistone, Benr., and T. E. Hayr. A, comprehensive and newset of road-making regulations was ; approved of. It was decided to Rive tiio water bore at the Three Kings a thorough trial, the test to last over nix days, with a view to defining the water capacity in the locality. The chairman reported • that the'-- terracing and laying-out of Waifcowhai Park was progressing at a satisfactory rate, and that the whole board would shortly visit the reserve in order to. decide upon the eite of several proposed side roads. It was agreed to purchase some 40ft lengths of timber for the construction of a bridge across the gulch in the, park. In reply to Mr. Haslett, the chairman stated that the prospects were favourable for the early talune over of the Manukau Harbour by the Auckland Harbour Board, a matter which should prove of benefit to Onehunga, Mount Koskill, and districts along the Manukau. .
