SHIP'S OFFICER MISSING.
A DEVONPORT MYSTERY.
Tire second officer of the steamer Taniwha, Mr. Joseph Rogers, has been missing since Monday morning. He left his house in Mill Road, Devonport, at 7 a.m. on Monday, to go on board his steamer. He did not arrive at the boat, and he has not since been seen. He is about 45 years of age, and is sft. sin. high. He is of medium build, with brown hair, and a fair moustache, and very thin features.
