ANOTHER LYSOL CASE.
, A YOUNG WOMAN'S DEATH.
AETHER fatality, which may undoubtedly be attributed to the lysol bottle, occurred in Onehunsa yesterday. The victim was an unmarried woman, 29 years of age, named Evelvn Amy Braccwell, who resided with her stepfather, Charles T. Brackenridge, .and his family in Trafalgar-street, Onebunga. During the absence of the family, the yeun" woman" evidently took a dose of -toe;, and when her stepbrother arrived home about 5.30 p.m., he found her lying , across his bed in an unconscious condition. Dr. Scott and Dr. Harke were immediately summoned, but their efforts were without .avail, and the woman died about seven o'clock. The room in which the deceased was found smelt very strongly of lysol, and. there was every indication that this was the cause of her death, but no trace of any bottle or any other receptacle which had contained the" poison was found in the room.
It is understood that the yonng woman lad been somewhat despondent lately, but she had given no indication that she intended taking her life. An inquest will be held to-day.
