The weather of lato has boon so unsettled that practically no swimming has been indulged in- The enthusiasts who bathe all tho year round, of course, are to bo seen nt, the baths each morning, "but very few of the leading swimmers have put in an appeuranoo to date. A week's , fine weather, however, will see the baths well patronised. The annual report of tho "Waitemata Club, which is to be presented'to members at the annual meeting 011 Friday evening next, makes interesting reading. There can 'be no doubt that the club did remarkably well last year, and if present, appearances aro any criterion further success will bo niet with this season.
