Buyers have offered 38s Bjd for a January - February* shipment. Liverpool futures : — December-March, 95*<1: May, 88|d. Australian, spot, is in small supply, and is nominally worth from 41s to 41s. Od. Parcels on the passage to London are offered at 38s 6d. New crop parcels, De-(eniber-Jamiarv shipments, are, selling at 37s 3d. New 'Zealand is dull, stocks being heavier. The beet is quoted at 395. Flour ia in poor demand, and is quote*! at 28s ex store; 27s is offered for new crops. OATS There is but little demand for oats. '"A"' Gar'oils on passage, 25s 6d : La. Plata, new crop, Deeemoer-January shipment, 16s 10id. PEAS AND BEANS. Little is doing in peas. Beans have a fair inquiry and Bra nominally worth 38s 6d ex store. BUTTE AND CHEESE. Butter continues dull owing to tho largo Home and French supplies. Considerable quantities of Siberian are in the. cold store?. Australian choicest is selling at 116s to 118s, and occasionally 120s; secondaries «ire vers" slow of sale at from 112s to 114s. Danish is quoted at 127s to 1295. Cheese is quiet. Dalgetv and Company, Limited, have received tlie following cablegram from their head office, London, under date November 7 :—Butter, quiet, with a downward tendency. Sixty-nine thousand cwt. of butter, equal to the total imports into tho United Kingdom for tho week ending Saturday, as compared with 66,OO0cwts. for "the corresponding period last year- The Copenhagen official quo tuition is two kroners lower. New Zealand salted butter at 122s : Danish butter, 1295: finest Australian salted, 118s; unsalted. 120s. Frozen meat: Very poor demand at unchanged prices. FRUIT AND PRODUCE MARKETS. Only a moderate amount of business has been transacted in the fruit and produce markets during tho week, and with tho exception of a shipment of Fiji bananas very little of note has been put through* 'Frisco apples, transhipped at Wellington from the Moana, are due 011 Monday, and will meet with a fairly good demand. Further shipments of Canadian apples from Vancouver, ex the Marama, are due on the 19th inst. The Navua arrived from Suva with upwards of 4000 packages of Bananas, and owing to the scarcity and almost a famine of fruit generally, prices were very good. Only 80 cases reached the market, ex Maheno, from Sydney on Monday, consisting chiefly of oranges. The demand was again good. Local grown lemons are soiling well, and gooseberries aro now making their appearance. New Potatoes : The market is good, although yesterday's supplies were much heavier than expected, consequently values were slightly less than in the earlier part of the weekOld Potatoes: Very little business is "being done. 'Frisco Onions: Market easier, late . arrivals from 'Frisco are not in good order; demand moderate. Fresh eggs and butter continue to sell well, with a good demand existing. All lines of vegetables and greenstuff are commanding high prices. Poultry is still in excellent demand, and good prices rule for best-conditioned birds.
