NOTES AND COMMENTS. / Tho most favourablo baiance-sheet in tho history cf tho Northampton Town 'Football Club was presented at tho annual meeting of tho club recently. Tho '....balance-sheet showed a.profit of £1040 33, but against this it _ was pointed out that tho club had received £1700 for the transfers of Brit tan and Bradshaw to Tottenham and Evcrton. On tho expenditure side wages accounted for £3118 15s, as compared with £3379 in tho previous season; whilst on tho receipt, sido tho Southern League gates svero £2450 lis sd, as compared with £2626; tho' Southeastern League gates produced £234 l^ as against £328, and the cup tics' £1038, "compared with £1700 ill 1910-11. Mr. Darnell in proposing the adoption of tho report and balance-sheet, pointed out. that but for the receipt of £1700 for transfer fees the club would havo made a serious loss.
