Thomson (Dunedin - North) , suggested in the House of Representatives to-day, that paper cups should .be; provided in railway stations and car- •' riages. . The Minister for Railways (Hon. W. H. Herries) replied that it has been arranged to make a trial of individual drinking cups, and that an order has al;j, : ready been placed for ten dispensers for >,-> -*! 11 ' 3 purpose. They will be brought into ~ operation as soon as landed. .
