THE ENGLISH CHAMPIONSHIP. . Tile English championship has been won by Mr. John Hmd (Manchester). Re. tied in the E.D.A. tournament with Mr. K. T. Ward (Birmingham), but won in the play-off. Mr. Hynd was born at Dunfermline in 1873. His brother (Mr. Auat* Hynd) won the championship 12 years ago. Mr. ». G. McKelvie (Glasgow) took third prize. The other competitor were Messrs. G.
