UNDER LEAGUE RULES.

REPRESENTATIVE MATCH. AUCKLAND V. HAWKE'S BAY. A representative match will played between Auckland and Hawke's Bay at Victoria Park this afternoon, play commencing at three o'clock. Although tho weather conditions were not favourable last night, a keen match is expected, as both teams are strong in the forwards, a-s well as having clover back divisions. When tho representative thirteens from theao provinces .mot last year & fine game took place,, and although Hawke's Baywas not successful, tho visitors have come to Auckland this year confident of victory. The Hawke's Bay team arrived by the Main, Trunk express morning, and the visitors are staying at the Waitemata Hotel. Captain Peterson accompanies the j team as manager. The teams are: — HAWKE'S BAY.
