AUCKLAND V. SOUTH AUCKLAND.

TO-DAY'S MATCH.

The Auckland representative team will meet the South Auckland representatives at Alexandra Park this afternoon. ■ , The Auckland team, though it will be without the services of Sellars, is a strong one, and includes Cunningham, _ who will make his first appearance in this season representative matches. Sellarss place as. front-row man will be filled by Muir, who has played consistently for tho Parnell team throughout the season. The back division will remain unaltered; Tlie South Auckland team is a very fair combination, _ and, pro-, viding the weather clears, an interesting game should result. Tho Waikato members of the team arrived by tho five o clock train last evening, and the other -players will arrive by steamer this morning. A "curtain-raiser," probably between Ponsonby B (Kiwis), and North Shore, the leading teams in the third grade competition, will bo played prior to the representative match. ■«, . : Tho teams in the representative match are: AUCKLAND. NOTES AND COMMENTS. The City Club was to havo played Rangataua to-day, but the match will not take place. The match was arranged on tho presumption that them would be do representative fixture at Auckland, but as some City players will bo engaged in the Auck-land-South Auckland match, - th© City team has cancelled its proposed visit. ; , , - A match' will bo played between Briscoe and Co. and the West End Rowing Club Football Club to-day on the Marist Brothers grounds, Ponsonby, at 2.45 p.m. •-■;.-
