«o. TWELVE SECTIONS ALLOTTED. Crow.v lands, aggregating 5048£ acres, were offered for selection at a ballot yesterday. There were 16 sections, but there were no applications for four of them, the total number of applicants being- 51. The ballot resulted as follows :— Section 154, Ivolieroa parish, 286J acres (two applicants), E. G. Mabey; section 11, Block XIII., Maramarua survey district, 87 acres (four applicants), A. V. V*. Best; section 253. Waipipi parish, 100-J acres (nine), T. Dugdale; section 254, Waipipi parish, 91£ acres (six), S. P,. Dickey; section 254 a, Waipipi parish, 92J acres (sis), A. M. McEwen; section W. 38, Awitu parish, 68 acres (one), H. J. Recce; section 2, Block 11., Rotorua survey district, 1096 acres (four), R. Ritchie ; sections 106 to 116 inclusive, except 110, Kawakawa pariah (two), Emma Laird ; section 9, Block 111.. Waioeka, survey district. 60 acres (six), C. P. Sorbin; section 8, Block 111.. Rotorua survey district, 527 acres (eight), I. M. Ritchie-; section 53, Maramarua, parish. 306 acres (two), F. Cheffings; section N.E. 49.
