INTER-CLUB MATCH. An inter-club teams match, between the Auckland and Maungakiekic Clubs, will be played to-morrow. Following is the draw: At Middlcmore: P. Laurence v. S. L. Harke. P. Hanna v. The members of the Waihi Ladies' Golf Club played the monthly medal competition yesterday. Miss Sowerby winning with a not score of 54 (handicap 22), Mrs. Noakes (handicap 16) was second with 09. On Saturday the members of tho men's club will play a match against bogey, and a sweepstake will probably be arranged.

Cambridge, Thursday. The weekly handicap bogey competition, played on Wednesday, resulted in A. H. Nicoll, N. Banks, and It. Mnir tieing with 2 down. In tho play-off Banks won. Concurrently with tho above the qualifying round of the club championship was played, when tho following eight players qualified:—J. Banks 91, K. Muir 91, A. H. Nicoll 92. N. Banks 97, E. J. Wilkinson 98, T. Middleton 99, S. Dunbar 100, C. W. MeBride 101. The next round will be match play, and the draw is as under:—Nicoll v. N. Banks, Wilkinson v. Moßride, Muir v. Middleton, J. Banks v. Dunbar. In the captain's tourney, N. Banks (16) beat Wilkinson (10) 1 up at the 19th hole, J. Banks (10) beat T. Middleton (14), 1 up. The matches in the semi-final are;—N. Banks v. Dunbar, J. Banks (10) v. B. v Caddy (30). The ladies' monthly medal competition will be played on Saturday, July 27, and Wednesday, July 31.
