AUCKLAND V. HAWKE'S BAY. TOMORROWS MATCH. The Auckland representatives will meet Hawke's Bay afc Victoria Park to-morrow afternoon. Both provinces will be represented by strong teams, and a close and interestinff match is expected. The Hawke's Bay players will arrive in Auckland by the Main Trunk express this morning. AUCKLAND V. Mr. 8. F. Wilson, who raised the Question, suggested that in view of the pronounced popularity of the Northern Union game elsewhere, tho local union might see lit to sink its traditions and sentiment and take control of the now game. It was eventually decided to circularise clubs, inviting them to discuss the position created by the invasion of Canterbury by the Northern Union game, also to convene a special meeting of representatives of clubs for the game purpose.
