WAIHI CLUB. [BT TEXJiGItATff.— CORRESPONDENT. Waihi, FridayA meeting of the committee of tho Waihi Bowling Club was held last evening, Mr. R. Vercoo in th© chair. It was decided to close section play in Mr. M. Casey's handicap on Wednesday, April 24, and in Mr. R. E. Williams's" cup competition on May 1. On May 1 a tournament will bo played for tho president's trophies. Th© Rocky Nook Bowling Clu'b can boast of an event which is very rarely recorded in sport. To-day J. Scott will play-off with G. Fletcher for the club sineles championship, while his son, T. Scott, will play-off for the first-year players' championships with J. Rowe.
