•RICHMOND CRUISING CLUB. The Richmond Cruising Club held its final cruising race to the Wade on Saturday. There was a light westerly freeze at the start of the race, hut it gradually freshened. The boats got away well together, Emerald soon taking the lead, which she held till off the Devonport Wharf, where Sadie passed her. After passing North Head Emerald again took the lead, and retained it for the remainder of the race. The following are the finishing times:— Emerald, sh. 57m. 205.; Sadie, sb. 57m. 40a.; Rambler, 6h. 7m. 355.; Speedwell, 6h. 7m. 455.; Puawanga, 6h. 18m. 3s; Venus, 6h. 21m. 155.; Dnlcie, 6h. 24m. 10s.; Lina, 6h. 26m. 415.: Ivy, 6h. 32m. 565. Corrected times place Emerald 1, Sadie 2, Rambler 3, Ivy 4 The race was also a sail-off for points in the first-class race. It was won by Sadie. NORTH SHORE CLUB. The North Shore Yacht Club held its filth, cruising race on Saturday to Drunken Bay. In classes 1, 2. and 3 the course .was from off Victoria Wharf, outside Sandspit buoy, round Rangitoto and Motutapu, finishing between Quarry Point, and mark-boat moored cast. Classes 1 and 2 raced together. Pandora, with a handicap of 40m., {rained first prize, while Gloriana (22m.) and May Belle (32m.) tied for second place. Class 3 was won by Cloud (scratch), with Waitere (9m.) second, and All Red (16m.) third. For classes 4. 5, and 6 the course was from off Victoria Wharf, keeping outside Sandspit buoy, round Rangitoto Reef buoy, thence round Brown's Island buoy on port hand, to finishing line. Hetty (9m.) won in class 4, Waima (5m.) being second, and Hilda (4m.) third. In class 5 Ngawa (4m.> got first place, with Rio (9m.) second, and Eileen (3m.) third. Mayo (10m.) won in class 6; Ena, (scratch) was second, and Neola (scratch) third.
The course for class 7 was from off Victoria, Wharf, outside Sandspit buoy and Bean Rock lighthouse, round Brown's Island buoy on port hand, to finishing line. Sceptre (scratch) won. with Atangaiti (scratch) second, and Lasca (13m.) third. A launch race was also held for boats under seven knots. Nella dim.) was first, and Irene May (17m.) was second.
