GISBORNE-MOTU RAILWAY.

[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Gisbohne, Monday. The Wellington correspondent of the Poverty Bay Herald telegraphs as follows: — "The Public Works Department, which has been considering the representations of the settlers respecting the location of the southern railway junction with the Gisborne-Motu line, has decided to finally adopt the King's Road site, at Makauri. It is considered that not only will it be a shorter line, but also the danger of the banking-up of the flood waters, which the settlers feared, can be completely obvktod. The King's Road line will also give a better connection with Patutahi township."
