BREACH OF PROMISE.
COSTS ONE HUNDRED POUNDS. [BY TELEGRAPH.OWN* CORRESPONDENT.] Hamilton, Monday. A claim for £500 damages for breach of promise of marriage, brought' by Ixnu'sa Clarke against Rupert Smith, was heard in the Supreme Court this morning. No defence was filed, and the jury assessed the damages at £100.
