The building will also be suitable for exhibition and general sporting purposes. The New South Wales Cyclists' Union has decided to take advantage of the fact that E. W. Schneider, the amateur track champion of Australia, is at present in Europe, and to appoint him its official re- * presentative in the forthcoming 200 miks load race, to be held around Lake Malar, ne&r Stockholm (Sweden), in connection with the Olympic Games in July. Schneider ' iai proved himself a first-clas3 track rider during his sojourn in England, and has put up some very meritorious performances; Ibufc track and road riding are two different things. Schneider may have tho makings of a first-class rider, but it takes time and experience to make & longdistance Toad rider.
