CROQUET.
THE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHES. The Auckland Croquet Association's championships meeting was to have started yesterday at the Men and Epsom lawns, but the wet weather necessitated a postponement until to-day. Th© dates of tho teas to be given by the different clubs will not be altered. Th© following matches -will start at 10 *.m. to-day:—Mesdames Elliot and Payton t.'« Mesdatoes Briffault tod Clark*; Mrs. W. Niehol and Miss Herrcld x. Mesdaroes Hoi-rocks and Walker. At L3O p.m. the following "games will commence:—Mesdames Gallagher and Coulis v. Mesdames Hill and Whitney; Mesdames Brown and Smith v. Mesdames Burton and Isemotiger.
