A MOTORING OUTRAGE.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY.
By Telegraph. —Pres» Association.— Paris, March 1. The motorists who recently caused a sensation at the Place du Havre have since broken into a lawyer's house at Pontoise. The owner fired at them and the motorists replied with their revolvers, wounding him. The car was afterwards discovered afire at St. Ouen-sur-Scine.
A motor car, when proceeding down the Place du Havre, a week or two ago, knocked down a number of people. The motorists, when threatened with arrest, fired revolvers, and killed a gendarme. The cardriven at full speed, was pursued by the police in another motor oar, and during the chase a girl was.severely injured. The murderers escaped.
