DRUIDS' PICNIC.

THE Druids' Picnic was held at Cowes Bay, Waiheke. on Saturday, and proved a great success. Two boats were engaged, and were well filled, the Wakatere leaving at 9 a.m., and the Aupouri at one p.m. A specialboat also conveyed a number from Paeroa direct to Oowes Bay. and another was run from Warkworth. The sports were in charge of Bros. Neilson and Flanagan. The duties, of secretary were ably carried out by Bro. G. H. Lethaby, who was assisted by Bros. Blair. Peet. louug, Neilaon, Flanagan, J. 'lyier. and. W. A. Knox, aiiu D.P. Bros, jb-iatt, Yvauauigkam, Ross, uillet, Matthews, Rockby, Wjllis, *NewuicK, and tofaaw (ok the Goldiields district). P.G.P. Bro. W. Jiiouirteid was also present at the gatiiering. ±'n© baby show was the event oi the day. The competition attracted 40 bauios;' fho various events resulted as Gniunpiow baby (under 12 months): C.
