One case is that of, Campbell Moir, the young man who murdered Henry Trevascus in his room at Glebe, striking Trevascus with a. plough coulter while negotiating with him for the sale'of platinum filings. . * *".'."'' •' The other prisoner whose sentence is commuted is the farm labourer Lawless, who shot a young girl named Lucy Cover —at whose mother's houM< he was calling —and also wounded the mother.
