BUSINESS DONE YESTERDAY.

The sharomarket wis dull yesterday. In mining lines the price of Talismans was lower, shares being quoted (ex. div.), with buyers at 51s 3d, and sellers at 51s 9d. There was no change in Waihis, rales being made at 455, leaving later buyers at that price, and sellers at 45s 3d. Wailii Grand Junctions were exchanged at 28s 6d and 28s 3d, and more were on offer at 28s 6d, buyers quoting 28s 3d. Waihi-Paeroas were again sought after, shares being sold at 465, with later buyers at 45s 6d, sellers holding for 475. In investment stocks Auckland Gas (old) were done at 67s 6d, more being available at 67s 9d, buyers offering 67s 3d. New Zealand and River Plates (new issue) changed hands at 18s 9d.
