" BETTER DAYS AHEAD." [BY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.! New Plymouth, Monday. Mr. C. E. Bellringer, acting chairman of the Taranaki Petroleum Company, has received a letter from Mr. C. Carter, chairman of the company, who went to London in connection with the sale of the concern to tho Oil Trust, Ltd., in which Mr. Carter confirms the cabled intimation that Mr. J. D. Henry, accompanied by a geologist, will arrive in Taranaki before long in connection with the operations of the new company! Mr. Carter stales that Mr. Brown, the chairman of the Oil Trust, Ltd., is accompanying him fto New Plymouth, making the' voyage or, the recommendation of his medical advis ts. He expresses his satisfaction with tl is arrangement, as Mr. Brown will be able authoritatively and personally to put I efore the shareholders of the Taranaki P troleum Company the policy to be pursuer;' by the new company in its oil-boring and refinery works.
