ißr rELEGRAPH.—PHESS ASSOCIATION. ■ ; j Dunedin, Wednesday. The steamer Breeze arrived from the Bluff this morning. The officers informed a reporter that when they ascertained that officers, were leaving other vessels they felt in "honoor bound to leave the Breeze. After the vessel discharged at the Bluff they asked to be paid off, but the captain could not do. this. They expected ■< to, receive instructions to leave the ship in Diinedin, but realising the difficulty of securing other officers the local agents got permission from the Merchant Service Guild for the officers to remain on duty until reaching Lyttelton, the vessel's home port. The Breeze sailed at five p.m. for Timaru and Lyttelton.
