ELLERSLIE TOWN BOARD.
At the fortnightly meeting of the Ellerslie Town Board on Tuesday night it was resolved to notify ' property owners whose drains are causing a nuisance -that the nuisances must be abated. The frontage to the Panmure Road from Robert-street to Arthur-street, and from the station entrance to Pitt-street, was constituted a brick area if the buildings are erected at a less distance than sft from the side boundary fence. Messrs. Gavin, Peek, and the clerk were deputed to draw up a by-law on the subject.- The clerk was instructed to obtain from the Agricultural Department a copy of the Government's schedule of noxious weeds, such copy to be constituted the Board's by-Jaw on the. question. .
