SIR JOHN FIND LAY'S MEETING.
Sir,—No elector would have dissented from a vote of thanks being passed to Sir •T. Find lay on Monday night, but when a vote of confidence was tacked on, the chairman of the meeting showed either ignorance of the conduct of a meeting, or prejudice, in not allowing an amendment to be nut to the meeting, the mover of which could have produced a dozen or more Rood reasons why any Northern constituency should lot havo confidence in Sir John or the Ministry whom he represents. ; •' DISGUSTED ELECTOR.
