A NEW BATTLESHIP.
KING GEORGE V. LAUNCHED. By Telegraph.—Copyright.Vr' London, October 9. The new battleship King George V. was launched at Portsmouth to-day. Princess Christian performed the christening ceremony, Australian wine being used.
The King George V. will have a speed of about 21 knots, and will have ad placement of about 23,500 tons. A cablegram published last week states that four more battleships of ;, the.,eame type* are to be built. . . „?' /" - -
