BUSINESS DONE YESTERDAY.

Business on the Stock Exchange was not very active yesterday. In -mining lines Waihis wore a little firmer, shares being dealt in at from 66s 9d to 67s to 67s 6d to 67s 9d, later sellers , quoting 68s, and buyers 67s 6d. Talisman Consolidateds were on offer at 51s 3d, with buyers at 50s 9d. Waihi Grand Junctions maintained late values, sales being made at from 34s 6d to 34s 3d to 34s 6d to 34s 9d, closing sellers quoting 355, and buyers 34s 9d. Waihi Reefs Consolidateds were sold at Is. In investment stocks South British Insurances were done at 74s 3d, leaving further buyers at 745, and sellers at 74s 6d. Taupiri Coal Mines changed hands at 21s.
