AUCKLAND CLUB.

THE third old bird race of the season was held by the members of the Auckland Pigeon Flying Club on Saturday afternoon, from Taumarunui to Auckland, an airline distance of 142 miles. The conditions ■were ideal, the atmosphere being clear and a light head wind blowing. One hundred and fifty-four pigeons, representing 16 lofts, v ere liberated by Mr. Harrison, at 10.30 a.m, the winner homing to Mr. H.
