SUPPOSED DROWNING.

HUNTLY BOY MISSING. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Huntly, Saturday. About five o'clock this afternoon the clothes of a boy aged about 11 years named Clarence Kennedy, son of Mr. Kennedy, photographer, of Huntly, were found on the river bank, and as no one appeared to claim the apparel, it is conjectured that the lad was drowned while swimming or playing on a large log near the bank. Inquiry elicited the information that the lad was seen without clothing on a log in the river during the afternoon, but so far no one can throw any light on the subject. As soon as thejpolice were informed they proceeded to the river, and are still draggin* for the body. From all accounts, the boy was unable to swim.
