„ [from OUR own CORRESPONDENT.] , A meeting of the Presbyterian congregation \va:s held on Monday, the Rev. Walker presiding. The object of the meeting was to consider the offer of a piece of land suitable for a manse. It was decided to purchase the allotment, and half the money was promised in the hall. The . launch Elsie, with: a large number of passengers aboard, went aground on the mudbank near. Scott's wharf last Saturday, and had to await the rising tide. The launch was chartered to bring the hockey teams to Hobsonville. The town team hired nether launch, and arrived late.

Hamilton, Wednesday.
Mr. Newton Jones concluded his mission in Hamilton yesterday. In acknowledging a hearty vote of thanks.Mr. Jones urged the-desirability of the local Sunday-school teachers forming an auxiliary branch of the Auckland -Sunday-school Union. Mr. , Schilski, examiner for Trinity College, of Music, London, .has .finished his examinations here. The work, he , states, has been very satisfactory. , FRANKTON JUNCTION; , (by telegraph.--own correspondent.] Frankton Junction, Wednesday. Mr. W. T. Mills, Labour organiser, addressed about 50 railway hands here last night on the necessity for. central organisation of the whole of the Labour forces of the Dominion.
