A vert successful entertainment in aid of the funds of the East End public school was held in • the Academy Theatre, last evening,, there being a krge attendance. The drills and action songs by the children reflected , much credit upon the . performers and their instructors. The following also contributed enjoyable items : -r—Misses W. Andrew, Robinson) A.
