TARANAKI PETROLEUM.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS association.] New Plymouth, Wednesday. The Taranaki Petroleum Company to-night received a cablegram, from Mr. Carter, chairman of the company, who is in England negotiating the eale of the concern to British capitalists. The message is of a very satisfactory nature t and everything points to a speedy completion of the whole business.
