THE WAIHI DISPUTE.
WAITING FOR THE NEWS. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Waihi, Thursday. Messrs. W. E. Parky (president of the Waihi Miners' Union) and 11. Semple (organiser of the New Zealand Labour Federation), who attended life recent meetings in Wellington of the executive of tiro federation in connection with" the demands of the Waihi miners, are exported to arrive in Waihi at noon to-morrow. No official information lias been received by the local officers of the union, but it is considered probable that the representatives of the executive will endeavour to arrange for the holding of a conference with the mineowners' before referring the matters in dispute to a special general meeting of the Miners' Union.
