Sydney, May 24. At the inquiry touching the deaths oj Mr. and Mrs. Segar Bastard and child to-day, Mr. Williamson appeared for New Zealand relatives.

Dr. Palmer stated that Bastard's braid wag (ho largest lie had ever seen or known to bo recorded. He was unable to saj that such a brain would incline toward insanity.
