STABLES BURNED.
[BY :: TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Monday. Stables attached to the Provincial Hotel at Upper Hutt were destroyed by fire during Saturday night. Amongst the inmates was Zealand, who won the Ruapehu' Han- : dicap at Trentham during the afternoon, but Mr. Buick's gelding was got out uninjured. A hack racer belonging to Mr. Vavasour, of Blenheim, was suffocated.
