TYPHOID AMONG NATIVES.
TWO FRESH CASES,

Dargaville, Monday. Visiting the Maori settlement at Scarrots' on Saturday, Dr. Horton discovered two fresh cases of typhoid. He reported the matter to the Health Department, and in consequence Dr. -Makgill, : with Mr. Grieves, county sanitary inspector, arrived ' this evening from Auckland, and will forthwith proceed to investigate and take steps to overcome the epidemic.
