BOWLING.
MOUNT ALBERT GREEN. The Hon. George Fowld*, who is a life member of theT4ount Albert Bowling Club, accompanied by Mrs. Fowltte, paid a' visit to the green on Safarrday afternoon. The presidiMifc (Mr. M. J. Co vie), 'on behalf of the members, welcomed Mr. Fowlds back to New Zealand. Mr. Fowlds replied in a brief speech. The members gave Mr. and Urn Fowlds threw hearty cheers. There were also present a rink from the Auckland Club contesting* for the Edwin stare and two rinks from Otahuhu playing inter-club matches. The Edwin stars were won-, by Auokland by 19 to 17. The interclub match resulted in a win for Otahuhu. SOUTH AUCKLAND TOURNAMENT. THE COMPETING KINKS. [BY TELEGRAPH.— CORRESPONDENT.] Waihi, Monday. A total of 20 rinks ha to entered for the South Auckland bowling tournament, which commences hero on Wednesday morning.
