REGAINING LOST PRESTIGE.

Vienna, December 31. There is excitement in Hungary at the publication of a statement made by the Archduke Francis Ferdinand, at an audience to the Premier, Count Khuen-Hedervary. ' '
' The Archduke, on the occasion referred to, said that if Hungary were granted all the money required by the military administration for the maintenance of the monarchy as a great Power, Hungary would regain the renown and splendour of its political prestige; which had somewhat suffered during recent years'.
