THE King Country Rifle Association's meet* ing, which has just concluded, more .than, justified the expectations of its promoters.' They had arranged for a maximum of 60 competitors, but between 70 and 80 put in au : appearance, and. these included some of th» crack riflemen of New Zealand. Both Friday and Saturday were fine, aftd the light>was generally good. On the latter day a< rear fishtail wind was blowing, which bothered all hut the most experienced allots.
