BOXING.
William Squires, a well-known boxer, was in the summons division of the Tamworth Police Court fined Is and 6s Court costs 011 a complaint of riotous behaviour. It- was stated by I Kith police and defendant's solicitor that Squires was annoyed by several persons. He punched them, and "they deserved what they got.
