SHORT CUT TO BOMBAY.
THE LINE ACROSS PERSIA. By Telegraph.—Pi-ess Association.— St. Petersburg, November 16. It is claimed that the construction by Russia of a railway across Persia, from the Caucusus to Baluchistan, will shorten the journey from London to Bombay to seven days, and reduce the cost by 20 per cent.
