The manager in his latest report states that the low level is in 136 ft. "On Thursday last," he goes on to state, "we intersected a. compact reef about 12in in thickness, showing nico colours of gold on the footwall. This now proves to be the hangingwall branch of the Loyalty reef, and from its kindly appearance we expect to meet with good values at any time. WAIHI EXTENDED. The manager of the Waihi Extended. mine reports that the shaft has now been sunk' 93ft below No. 5 level.
