DROP FROM A BALLOON.
AERONAUT'S NARROW ESCAPE.

Napier, Sunday. A BALLOON ascent was made from the Recreation Ground .on Saturday, when the aeronaut, 0. J. Sebphc, ascended to a height of 2250f.t, as registered by the aneroid. He descended by parachute, and landed on the top of the chronic ward of the Napier Hospital, (smashing four of the roof tiles. He sustained only slight ininrVi.
