DUNEDIN BAND CONTEST.
[BY TEI EGRATU. —I BESS ASSOCIATION.] Dunedin, SundayThe band contest was brought to a conclusion yesterday. The pipe band competition resulted as follows: —In marches — R. Sutherland (Wyndham) scored 48 points; J. McDonald (Wvndham) 47. In strathspey and reel, R. Sutherland 48, R. Young (Wyndham) 40. x The proceedings finished with a Scottish con cert* in the evening, and it is understood that the contest resulted satisfactorily from a financial point of view.
