ISLAND TOMATOES.
The steamer Moura, which arrived from Suva yesterday, brought 71 cases of tomatoes for Wellington. Should the fruit be passed by the inspectors, regular shipments throughout the season will probably result, as tomatoes are very plentiful at Fiji. A small trial shipment was sent to Wellington a short time ago and the shippers were so pleased with the result that on the present occasion they have shipped a much larger quantity.
